Adder’s-tongue Fern (Ophioglossum vulgatum), only 5-6cm tall !

This tiny little fern is only around 2.5 inches tall. It grows on grassland and can be seen at this time of year, for a very short period, before it is lost to sight as the grass grows and covers it.
