Rebirth represent my dad's surprise when he first saw colors using the EnChroma glasses. The surprised girl on the vest is me. To emphasis the surprise feeling, I made the same posture as my portrait on the vest. Black on Rebirth represents the world that colorblind people see. I choose lemon yellow for the vest not only to make a contrast with black, but also to show the hope for colorblind people with the use of technology (EnChroma glasses) The other interpretation is when others see difficulty, I see opportunities (which is represented by unlimited dots). What I need to do is to rethink and break the old rules.
