July 2021 - Lincoln weekend

It was so good to be back in Lincoln for a weekend after missing it last year. We love Lincoln, it's such a beautiful city.
Friday was a fairly chilled day. We went for a wander up to the cathedral and - as we always do - along the canal to Brayford Wharf . Then on the evening our plan was to go to a restaurant for a meal then on to a bar somewhere.
We found a nice quirky little restaurant called Crust for dinner but the plans afterwards were scuppered by getting soaked in the rain! We couldn't find a bar that didn't need a prior booking so we headed back - very damp - to the hotel. Still smiling though, of course!
Oops, forgot to post this one yesterday - this one prior to the soaking, obviously! ;-)
