This is the reason I started making cheesecake. It was my Dad's birthday.
It is very tough at the moment, as Dad is slipping away due to Altzheimer's and so being unable to spend time with them is extra difficult.
I decided to drop off a cheesecake for him. Of course, I couldn't go in the house, and had to physically stay away from my parents, but it was nice to see them for the first time in weeks.
I even sneakily used Trans Pride colours for the birthday candles, ha ha!
