For the Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend in 1985, BR East Midlands decided to run passenger trains along the then hardly used Wirksworth Branch for the Wirksworth Well Dressings. Both prototype Class 150 Sprinters were used during the course of the weekend. 25/5/85
