Alton Station

Now a private residence Alton station was located on the Leekbrook Jn - Denstone - Uttoxeter section of the North Staffs. Had it survived it would have been extremely popular serving the nearby Alton Towers. The Churnet Valley Railway have aspirations to one day extend as far as here. 28/5/85
