Apis Bull
The Apis Bull, sacred bull of Memphis, found to the west of Pompeii’s Pillar in Alexandria. The statue was set up in the reign of Hadrian (AD 117-138). This bull represents the most successful imposition of Greek realism upon an Egyptian image.
