WWII, Road Block, STANTA, RAF East Wretham Airfield.
At the edge of the old World War Two airfield, there are about six or seven ''concrete pimples'' which are painted white, these were very likely used as a road block. At least two of the bollards have holes all the way through, into which a steel pole would be inserted, sliding it clear for access, this is probably not their original position, and would have been used at one of the guardhouses or entrance gates.
