In this section, I was required to create a recreation of any painting of a famous person. Since I have never been a skilled painter myself, I decided to look at modern style paintings where shading isn't required. Being a fan of great films, there is one movie that I can't rewatching called " Birdman or the Virtue of Ignorance " While listening to the soundtrack on Spotify, I saw this modern art painting of Michael Keaton with a comic book character he used to play in this film, Birdman. In the movie, his ignorance is represented by his younger self playing Birdman and his mind is overwhelmed by it. As a result, I thought that this desicion of having Birdman crouched over his head is a very subtle imdication of this character. This painting took me hours to complete and I really enjoyed the experience. However, once I was using the black paint to cast the shadow of his eyes, they became bigger. As a result, his eyes look more like a baby crying.
