Secret Heart
I've loved butterflies ever since my first walks in local country lanes in the West Midlands when I was a child. there seemed to be so many in those days , the grasslands and open spaces were always full with a graceful fluttering between the flowers. Later in life I was lucky enough to be able to get involved in the management and surveying of butterflies, especially fritillaries. This has been a. joy and has meant every summer there is something special to look forward to, like those first walks down sunny lanes as a child.
