Achilles

I took this photo twenty minutes ago at Loch Hosta where I'm staying on North Uist. It was just a. beautiful soft sky and as there was hardly a. ripple on the loch I couldn't resist my Achilles heel of taking reflections. It was wonderful standing there as Snipe drummed corncrakes raspingly called and a short eared owl gracefully hunted nearby. All in all an idyllic start to another Hebridean day.
