Dying slowly
We visited Stack Rocks last weekend, and despite the classic views being wonderful, I'm often drawn to the vertical view between the coast and the Stacks. The nesting birds had all gone, and the colours and shapes of the rock held centre stage. Dying slowly is a great Tindersticks track, and in geological time, these stacks are doing just that. it's a fascinating stretch of Limestone coast, full of inlets and collapsed caves stacks and arches.
