47452 passing Bordesley Junction at 09.04 on 5th December 1990

A change of scene includes the same class... Sorry ! I remember going to this location having remembered it from the days my dad would park his car on the adjacent road ahead of taking us to see the 'blues'. I was curious enough to take a look in my learning days and took this image. The need for steps were to still become part of the tools required for the job. I can't remember what type of fencing was used to guard the railway back then but I don't think it was as intrusive as palisades that are widespread now!
