Buon compleanno, Gilda !!

Today had born my great Aunt

Gilda Dalla Rizza, a very famous

opera singer. During her long career

she sung in the most famous theatres,

particularly in South America, with Enrico Caruso

and other great singers at that time.

( Verona October 13 1892 - Milano July 4 1975 )

 

Giacomo Puccini had written for her

several works, as " Il Trittico ".
