Day 29
Hatz of to Tracy's Molly Marie aka "Destructo Dog" - yes she thinks she is a cat sitting up on the back of the furniture!
I recently posted on my Facebook that my dog has one redeeming quality- she makes a good foot warmer.
Lately she has been a big pain in the ass. She is used to my husband playing with her everyday after he gets home from work. Well he has been away on business and I don't have time to play with her for what seems to be 24x7. I only have time for all the duties of a single parent of three kids with a 40 hr day job to keep up with which my dog doesn't seem to understand.
What she does understand is that she gets attention by doing things that drive me crazy.
She has chewed the end of a paintbrush, she has become the master at snatching things off of the counter and has shredded up paper plates and napkins , she somehow got a hold of a pizza box and shredded it all over the house, she loves my shoes, not anyone else's shoes, just mine... could go on and on and on and on....
The last straw was my daughter's homework, she is in high school and she spends hours working on her Art. Molly bellied up to the table and snatched her homework. She was so mad she punched the wall and bruised her knuckles.
So on Sunday I may send Molly away for a while to get the attention she needs along with some refresher training on doggie manners and obedience.
Or I may wait till Monday and send her to doggie day care, haven't decided yet, but something has gotta give!
