Downtown Mansard
I always enjoy seeing this small Second Empire mansard located in a dangerous downtown neighborhood but built in 1886 in better times for the area. Owners have painted and maintained the outside since I first saw it. A 2018 reference point is linked below.

I was excited to find some history on this place today and learned that it originally had a small porch around the door, which I had surmised. It has had many owners over the years and it has had many people, like me, you were taken with it. See the link below for more info.
