The Curious Case of the White House 1 of 2
This house has fascinated me since I first noticed it several weeks ago on a route that I travel perhaps 40 times a year. It is located on a busy street in Winnipeg's inner city in a rundown neighborhood.
The front upper floor seems to be in good shape, the windows look good and just washed, the roof seems quite new, and yet the first floor is boarded up. I surmised that fire was the culprit even though there is no direct evidence in view.
I walked around the house the next time I drove by. Please see the picture posted to the right.
