Barred Owl Pair (Fledglings) 2
Yesterday morning at Barataria Preserve (Jean Lafitte NHP&P) we saw two barred owl fledglings calling to each other and following each other around. We first saw them a few weeks ago when they still had a little more fluff to them. I was lucky enough to capture these pictures when they noticed us watching them while they sat together on a branch. These may be my favorite pictures I've taken of the barred owls in Barataria!
