Manosque, France is a town west of Valensole. What amazes me here is that there is a 15 hectare manmade lagoon just 5km from the town center known as "Plan d'Eau des Vannades".

The spot provides an alternative for the locals here to enjoy the usual water sports, leisure and relief from summer heat without having to drive far south to the beach.
