Cité de Carcassonne, in southern France’s Languedoc region, is a medieval citadel famous for its 53 watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. Restored in 1853, Le Cité was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.

I had the opportunity to have spent a wonderful evening in this awesome place. Here is an artwork of a fellow photographer sitting on the edge of the high wall gazing into the beautiful night sky.
