Stranger #9/ Record breaker
The Marine Corp had a booth set up at the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival. It was fun to watch everyone try to beat the previous records. I was surprised at some of the young men that I thought would really take off on pull-ups only be able to do 7! I was standing next to a small group and the lady had just competed in the hanging hold and they were going to walk away and I asked this guy (Justin is his name, it turns out) if he was going to compete. He was like all, "ehh, I don't know... " His girlfriend (or wife) started egging him on. I explained to him I wanted to post his picture to my photography group on the web and he was all for it. Get this... the guy goes up there and whips out 24 - yes 24 pullups. In no time. He breaks the record for the day. When I left that night around 9:00 I checked back in and his record of 24 still stood. So, Justin, if you happen to find this, way to go man!
