New hairdo

Update on my lungs:

This girl represents me. Longing to go outside. Longing to be well! What we thought was atypical pneumonia, is actually atypical tuberculosis. I've been battling it since Feb 8, and it's been complicated by my MS. At least now, we know exactly what it is and can attack it properly. I should know the treatment plan on Monday, when I speak to the infectious disease doctor.

 

I'm so thankful for so many people here on Flickr that help to lift my spirits just by sharing dolls, dioramas, miniatures and all sorts of fun toys!

This superstar girl was rebodied last year onto an articulated fashionista body. Her hair was originally in a high pony (I think) and I've struggled to get it to lay flat on her head since taking it down. I used plastic wrap around her head to hold her hair where I wanted it and set her in the heating pad. It took several tries and it was much better. But still not what I'd hoped for. So I decided to add the side braids. I love how it turned out!
