Venus on 53rd, b/w
There were three statues of Venus by Jim Dine within a half-block. They are collectively entitled "Looking Toward The Avenue" and installed in the small plaza on the east side of Sixth Avenue at west 53rd Street. The verdigris bronze renditions of Venus De Milo emerge from a water pool.
The statues were there temporarily.
