Education for all!

There were no signs, no labels. So I don't know who is the author of these sculptures. This donkey reminded me of Goya's Los Caprichos series.

"Originally, Église Saint-Martin was a medieval Romanesque church mentioned in the ninth century. Considered too small, the building was demolished and rebuilt in 1635.

Because of Its location on the banks of the Rhone, the church had the sad privilege to also serve as a sanctuary for drowned people rejected by the river.

The facade, very sober, is inspired by Louis XIII style."

It is a space for cultural events now.

Arles, Provence.
