murphman61 says: 1928 Braves manager Rogers Hornsby with owner Judge Fuchs & coach Art Devlin. The only difference I see between this photo and what appears in "Dressed to the Nines" is stripes on the socks.

murphman61 says: 1930 Singer Rudy Vallee visits with Rabbit Maranville. The photo says it's taken in Boston (and it certainly looks that way). It may be but this looks to be a Road uniform.

murphman61 says: 1930 Braves catcher Bill Cronin with Cubs catcher Gabby Hartnett. This looks like the Home version of the one Maranville is wearing above. Or, they are both Home versions and different (or one of the years is in error). Too bad we can't see the large Brave on the back. "Dressed to the Nines" says this is red with yellow trim. Nice "Cub" on Gabby's sleeve.

murphman61 says: 1936 Tony Cuccinello & Wally Berger Home Uniform They're called the Bees now. Some major differences with the "Dressed to the Nines" version. Dark lettering, light (yellow) caps and socks. Berger is wearing a different style than the one below but the same as the other guy. Did they have two different Home styles?

murphman61 says: 1936 Not sure what's going on here. The photo says "1937" but they look like the uniforms from 1936. Is Wally Berger (in the foreground) wearing an Away version or is it just faded? The uniform itself looks a tad grayer.

murphman61 says: 1936 A good look at the numbers worn that season This is Braves Field and looks to be the grayer uniform that Berger is wearing above (But, then again, maybe not).

murphman61 says: 1937 Bees coach Hank Gowdy, Reds coach George "Highpockets" Kelly and unknown Bees coach at Braves Field. A good look at both the Home and Away versions. Lettering and socks are yellow with blue trim. The Road version here differs from the '37 version shown in "Dressed to the Nines" (they show it with a dark "Boston") and the light colored cap isn't shown either Home or Away.

murphman61 says: 1939 Red Sox rookie Ted Williams posing with the Bees' Eddie Miller One of my favorites. Very modern looking thick sleeve stripes. This almost looks to be the Away version with the Home cap. Not easy to tell though (they seemed to mix up what they wore during these City Series). "Dressed to the Nines" shows this as having red and navy trim.
