VANISHING VISTAS
Canadian National's Spadina engine terminal in Toronto Canada. The roundhouse was demolished in 1986 and the SkyDome, now Rodgers Centre, was built in its place. I believe that this area is also a part of the 17 acre Roundhouse Park with the Canadian Pacific roundhouse also incorporated within it but am unsure of the present day boundaries. FPA4 was built by Montreal Locomotive Works for CN in 04-1959 and now resides at the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello Illinois. In back of the A unit is F9B 6619. Must have been a big roundhouse in its heyday as stall #31 still has its past "glory days" number. Still have many of the nice post cards that the Vanishing Vistas Company put out in the 1970's.
