HANDLE ME CAREFULLY
Some sign work displayed at the south end of D&H's yard in Oneonta N.Y. The sign hanging from the bridge with a boxcar background states "I am your Livelihood HANDLE ME CAREFULLY". It was the first and last time that I ever saw a sign like this. Did the D&H have many of them? The Safety Board has everyone batting zero. Were the figures ever posted correctly on boards like this and who's job was it to post the figures? To the left of the board is the track leading to the Hump. Thanks for any answers in advance.
