PATCH JOB
Seven months into the infancy of Conrail and renumberings were quite evident. Some were acceptable by the Conrail "Fallen Flags" followers and some were just plain brutal. Ex EL, exx Erie NW2 #415 has been renumbered and it seemed to me that Conrail had no standardization when it came to dealing with it's "Patch Jobs" at this time.
