ON THE ROCKS
"Tuxedo Rocks" was a name given by railfans to a spot westbound of the Tuxedo N.Y. station where the ex Erie main line cut through a rocky area along the banks of the Ramapo River. This photo of an EL westbound was taken at 7:15 in the morning before the sun had a chance of breaking over the Ramapo Mountains to the east. A lone GP35,#2577,powers this unknown symbol past the rocks on 11-07-1973. Howard Kent Jr. photo.
