Prime Mover
EL's C424's had Alco's 16 cylinder 251B prime mover rated at 2400 H.P. Their C245's had the 251C rated at 2500 H.P.,and the PA's had the 244 rated at 2000 and 2250. Have no idea what company's loco that this came out of but for those interested this is what an Alco powerplant looks like sitting at Naporano Iron and Metal in Newark N.J.
