Cape Cod Scenic Railroad

Cape Cod Scenic Railroad southbound train #102 is pulling into the station at Hyannis Mass. on 07-22-1992 with 175 paying customers onboard.Train #101 northbound left Hyannis at 10:00am with a station stop departure at Sandwich at 10:37am.We arrived at Sagamore at 10:45am next to the Bourne Canal where the power ran around the train for the trip back to Hyannis.Train #102 departed Sagamore at 11:00am with an arrival back at Hyannis at 11:45am.Both locos, #'s1100 and 1114 are retired MBTA FP10's that were on lease to the tourist railroad. They were both built for the Gulf Mobile and Ohio Railroad as F3's in 1946 and 1947. This Great Northern inspired paint scheme is on of my favorites. This operation is currently called The Cape Cod Central Railroad. Howard Kent jr, photo.
