The Jerte Valley is one of the main tourist attractions in Extremadura. It is located northeast of the community, in the province of Cáceres, about 110 kilometers away from the capital Cáceres and very close to the city of Plasencia and the border with Salamanca.
Its orography causes an ideal microclimate for cherry cultivation, in fact, it has the Jerte Designation of Origin. In addition, it has places of great beauty and an exceptional environment.
Besides we visited two very attractive villages in the valley: Cabezuela de Valle and Jerte
