Examples of Madrid's iconic madroño or Strawberry tree

It may well be that the tree which supposedly appears in the coat of arms of Madrid is not a madroño asthe tree was never very common in this part of Spain, nor are there written sources naming it as such until the 16th century. However, legends are just that and the identification is bound to stick! Incidentally a liqueur is made from the fruit.
