AL ASAD, Iraq (June 23, 2005) – Lance Cpl. Grant M. Saunders, a bulk fuel specialist stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., who is augmented to Military Police Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), takes a quick nap after a Brikwal Patrol. During the patrol the Burlington, N.C., native, and the other Marines with 5th Squad, search Alternate Supply Route Tin for possible mines or improvised explosive devices prior to the convoy traveling the road.
