Nursery Workday 3/4/17
CSFS Volunteers helped to continue work on the nursery grounds by helping to clean up the cottonwood growth study area and working on removal of Russian olive.
A productive morning was spent bucking up the cottonwood slash and chipping it to clean up the area. The low stumped cottonwoods are to be used for further propagation by harvesting the new growth. The volunteers were given a short nursery tour after lunch by Zach Clark-Lee, greenhouse manager.
