Brimketill

The name of the lava pool Brimketill, located on the south coast of Reykjanes, means "surf pool" or "whitewater pool." After a day of strong southerly winds, heavy surf had built up, and the naturally formed basin lived up to its name. Unlike the many hot pots found throughout Iceland, swimming here is not recommended.
