900 m³/s thunder down the Rhine Falls during the June 2024 flood, while the first rays of sunlight of the day will illuminate Laufen Castle. This means that the Rhine Falls will temporarily surpass the Sarpsfossen in Norway and become Europe's most water-rich waterfall.
