the golden waterfall
Gullfoss (english: golden waterfall) is not too popular with photographers because the water falls into a gorge from the lower of the two steps. In the front view you can only see part of the falling water; in the side view you cannot see the upper step. However, on this winter morning, the waterfall presented itself with freshly fallen snow and a thin layer of mist that gave the scene a golden and mystical light.
