farewell to Iceland
Due to the early departure time, I always spend the last night of the trip to Iceland near the airport. The photo motifs on Reykjanes are few and far between and that's why I'm always drawn to this beautiful place. It's not easy to take a good photo here: first the sky has to be right, then there has to be no wind and finally the tide has to be right. I was really lucky that evening, it had been windy until shortly before. The highest level of the tide was also shortly before and the now draining water forced me to change location a few times, as various currents repeatedly destroyed the reflection.
