Ytri Tunga Beach on Snæfellsnes in western Iceland is known for its grey seals and common harbor seals. The best observation times are in summer, but sightings are possible almost all year round. At low tide the animals sunbathe on the rocks of the bay, at high tide they swim around and catch fish. You only see their heads sticking out of the water from time to time.
