Lón
Lón is a lagoon in eastern Iceland separated from the sea by the Fjörur spit. Its western end is formed by the Vestrahorn mountain, the eastern end by the Eystrahorn mountain and the Hvalnes peninsula. Although the spit keeps the surf away from the lagoon, due to its enormous size and the strong wind that almost always blows in Iceland, the water is rarely as calm as it is at this sunset.
The massif on the left is the Vestrahorn, the picture was taken on the east bank, not far from the Eystrahorn
