When I prepare for a photo tour, I always look at the pictures of my travel destination. Then I try to find these places using Google Maps and imagine how the light changes there during the day and when is the best time to take a picture. In Dubai I often had to find out that this procedure doesn't work there - new skyscrapers are springing up too quickly. The construction sites, on which work is carried out day and night, are brilliantly illuminated and outshine all other city lights...
