Evaluating Mobile Information Artifacts with TEDS
Jochen Scholl, Tim Carlson, Grant Woods, Dustin Chiang, Mario Sanchez
This project uses the TEDS method of assessing information artifacts to evaluate 10 sports mobile applications. It is the first extensive project to use TEDS to evaluate mobile applications. It also investigates two issues raised from previous TEDS studies: First it addresses the question regarding the number of TEDS attributes which should be included in each scenario assessment for a given information artifact. Second, it will include assessments from real users of the mobile application in addition to the expert ratings in order to increase the number of evaluations and to compare the differences in assessments between experts and real users.
