Pelydrau haul ( Sunbeams ) on Tal-y-llyn
Crepuscular Rays or more commonly Sunbeams falling on Llyn Mwyngil otherwise known as Tal-y-llyn (lake) in Gwynedd late on a winters afternoon. It had been a cold and cloudy day on Cadair Idris with the summit rocks and hut covered in frost, but while descending from Mynydd Moel late in the afternoon in light rain and dark skies, sunlight suddenly appeared accompanied by these sunbeams falling the length of the valley westwards.
