Morning Mist
Early morning mist lifting in a view looking east to south east on the way up to Craig Cau on a very early ascent of Cadair Idris. The sun was well above the horizon but the sky still had colour left from sunrise. In the middle is the ridge above Bwlch Talyllyn followed by the Aberllefenni hills with Waun Oer 670m the high point on the ridge on the left, prominent behind it is Maesglasau 674m. The weather at the time was very hot, so to avoid the heat it was better to start early, after Cadair Idris I continued westwards along the superb ridge over Tyrrau Mawr and Craig y llyn to end the day on the coast at Llwyngwril without seeing anyone else all day.
