Logofolio #2 - Beyerdynamic (in advert context)
This was part the same "Logofolio" project as the Reddit logo. This time I decided to put the logo in the context of a front page banner for Beyerdynamic's website, however this could be carried over into other scenarios such as a billboard or a sign for the company HQ.
This was not a direct response to Linton Landors designs like the Reddit logo, but more a departure to contemporary design while retaining the motive to include another message within. Whats different with this design is that the relevant "feature" becomes apparent on first glance; the cable coming down from the headphone and forming the letter "d", then conversing into a housing for the second part of the Beyerdynamic name. The termination on the end of the cable is representing a headphone jack, which will be very obvious to the type of people viewing the companies high end audio products.
