Filled Bridge, Towton

The filled arches of the bridge.

 

The first descernable feature left of the former Church Fenton - Wetherby line at Towton. The bridge has been backfilled and any trace of the route from here to Church Fenton is gone. On my visit there was the remains on an Audi car which had had a quite spectacular accident and is abandoned in the former railway cutting.
