Looking and sounding the business, 40013 (D213) is seen on the North London Line passing the camera at Homerton on the 1st of March 2025, in charge of the 06:39 1Z31 The East Anglian Railtour organised by Intercity tours. The intercity coaching stock looked well turned out and were a credit to LSL.
As i left home and drove over to East London, I wasn’t very optimistic on getting any sort of decent light on this, as heavy mist and fog was still present in places.
Miraculously with about 15 minutes before the tour was due, the clouds started to break up and the sun started to make an appearance! Happy Days!
