Nine Elms
South Western Railway EMU’s No.s 455717 & 455867 are seen passing the very rarely used Nine Elms Flyover on the SWML between Vauxhall & Queenstown Road.
The 455’s are seen working the 11:03 2O23 Waterloo to Waterloo Circular service via Richmond on the 14th of January 2022, seen not far from Nine Elms Junction.
The Flyover was once used on a very regular basis by Eurostar services from Waterloo International, and was used as a way to get across the maze of lines in the area to access the South Eastern Main line leading to Kent and the channel tunnel. Now of course, St Pancras International is the main international Rail Terminus, meaning their isn’t much use for the flyover anymore these days!
