Rail Operations Group Class 37/5 No.37510 Orion is seen on the North London line near Canonbury on the 6th of October 2021, working the late running 10:26 5Q50 unit move (345012) from Old Oak Depot to Ilford EMUD.
This location has really grown up over the last couple of years.
The normal shot from the bridge in the distance is mostly dominantly in shadow now at this time of year, caused by the tall trees that run parallel to the line. This was the only other option to get any decent light on the passing train, but you have to go quite high on the pole to clear the line side vegetation, but as a consequence, you have to put up with the overhead wires being on the train.
Swings and roundabouts I guess!
